'KOI BHI MACHHAR NEHI MILEGA!'  or " no mosquito you can find!' this challenging version we all are used to these days. All the channels in our TV are telecasting ads of a mosquito coil with this dialogue; showing challenge between an elderly couple. The husband tries in many ways but fails to find mosquito. Thanks to the magical affects of that smokeless mosquito coil with brand name "Good Knight"! Hoax it is! Such ads featuring punches taking us to the world of fantasy ; stealthy planting the image in our mind to go for it. Marketing professionalsand Ad agencies take these advantage. No where in civilized world such 'Hoax' ads are permitted; at least there laws to limit. But 'Freedom of expression' offers freedom to our Ad makers showing cats as tigers. However, about that smokeless mosquito coils; sold under brand name of Good Knight is nothing special except it emits less smoke and repels lesser mosquitoes.  But no doubt; the

Even in smaller towns there are markets with shops of all varieties. In th ese shops , you can b argain and buy what you really want to. They never solicit any product that you don't need to or think worth of buying. We have been so used to them; we never thought there can be anything better.  Really not, there is nothing better. Malls; every alternative days you find their ads in your news papers. They boastfully advertise selling their stuffs be it groceries, clothing's or furniture at a cheaper price but the fact remains far from realities. What they sell cheap; mind you either they don't sell or they are approaching shortly their expiry dates. Some think that their qualities must have been compromised! Some of earlier articles stand by them, well, no doubt Mall

Recently there is lots of hue and cry over government’s decision clearing FDI retailer’s passage to open their shops in India. Government claims this will change our economy taking drastic turn. The farmers will be more gainer and so we, the consumers. Lots of jobs will be created in retail sectors. As they may erase our age -old clan of middlemen. Their direct marketing bypassing middlemen will help farmers get better price for what they grow and consumers get better what they buy. However the antagonists claim; things will go far worse as they will enjoy monopoly and rule the market as they wish. Now for us the situation is just wait and watch. After all we have no choice. Big retailers or shopping malls are common sight these days everywhere. Middle class with more surplus funds in their pockets now have become great consumers. Visiting any malls would testify this fact. The consumers; whom we usually find with tough bargaining spirit in local shops; move on the floor

More we are advanced in literacy, science and technology; more we seem to be pulled backward. You must be thinking how! Don’t you find those ads for miracle cures, talisman for turning your fortune or ‘tantric’ solution for wining lost love! There are numerous ads of those we find every morning in almost all the newspapers.   I am sure most of us ignore them; but there are many to believe for whom those ads are! Recently there was an ad appeared in front page of talisman promising to bring prosperity instantly!   Do you think those advertisers are fool to spend so much on ads unless they bring them good returns!   Even a decade ago, such ads were numbering much less; prior to that they were still lesser. May be the modern fast life turning us more insecure. The consumerism, the craze for all cosy life makes the man run after money without caring for minimum road safety. So the risk is high and to alleviate the risk; seek the refuge under illusionary astrologers, ‘tantric’ or

40% Extra!!!

It's quite common now , when you go to grocers you find many packs of your everyday needs like biscuits, toothpast, salt , soap or to name anything that comes in packets; have '**% extra' printed on the wraps. Obviously most us, the gullible consumers consider those packs really offer extra at the same price. How fool we are! Y OU WILL BE SURPRISED TO KNOW HOW WE ARE CHEATED ON SUCH COUNTS! If you take note of weight of your daily purchases that mentioned in their covers; it's easier for you to detect how you are made fool. A packet of your favorite biscuits is generally comes in packs of say 200gms. When you find the brand is offering some extra; note the weight again. In 9 out of 10 cases you are likely to find the packets of biscuits that used to come with 200gms weight, is now coming with 170 gms or still lesser and with some percentage of extra! In most of the cases you are likely to get still lesser amount, even with extras than you are getting earlier. So, l
